League of Women Voters

The League of Women Voters of Northampton County and Lehigh County are co-sponsoring a candidates forum for the 7th Congressional District race 7-8:30 p.m. Oct. 25.

The forum is being hosted at the Gracedale Nursing Home chapel, 2 Gracedale Ave., Nazareth.

Doors open 6:30 p.m. to allow some meet-and-greet time with the candidates.

There is plenty of parking.

The 7th Congressional District includes Lehigh and Northampton counties and the lower part of Monroe County. Vying for the Congressional seat representing this new district are Republican Marty Nothstein, Democrat Susan Wild and Libertarian Tim Silfies.

All candidates are invited and have agreed to attend the October forum. Dr. John Kincaid, from Lafayette College, will be moderating.

Bring your questions and learn which candidate fits your political interests. It is important for voters to be informed in order to make the best choice possible.

Election Day is Nov. 6.
