Oct. 19

Mother-Son Halloween Party for boys ages four to 12, 7 to 9 p.m. at the Lower Macungie Community Center, 3450 Brookside Road, Macungie. Pre-registration is limited to 25 couples. Wear your favorite Halloween costume. Music will be provided by a local DJ. Participants will enjoy beverages, snacks, a costume contest, a mummy wrap and much more. Oct. 20

The Church of the Good Shepherd, 135 Quarry Road, Alburtis, will hold its annual Fall and Holiday Bazaar 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Attendees will find crafts, white elephant, Chinese auction, bake sale and food at the event.

All-you-can-eat breakfast buffet 7 to 11 a.m. at Old Zionsville United Church of Christ, 5981 Fountain Road, Old Zionsville. There is a charge for adults, a reduced charge for children ages six to 12 and no charge for children under six. For more information, call Darlene at 610-966-5115.

Lehigh Temple, 2120 Route 100 between Macungie and Trexlertown, will host a breakfast 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The menu includes two eggs, two meats, pancakes, home fries, French toast, juice and coffee. Holiday bazaar 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Zion Lehigh Lutheran Church, 8269 Spring Creek Road, Alburtis. Crafts, basket raffle, bake sale and grandma’s attic will be available. The kitchen will be open for lunch. A free eye screening for children (10 a.m. to noon) will be provided by the Center for Vision Loss, sponsored by the Alburtis Lion’s Club.
