St. John’s United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., will host a cruise ship dinner theater Oct. 13, featuring St. John’s Players.

The event, produced by the fundraising committee, starts 6 p.m. in Fox Hall. There will be a dinner buffet and live-action theater with some audience participation.

St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave., is holding basketball and cheerleading registrations through Oct. 19.

St. Elizabeth’s also reminds all that food for the food bank will be collected Oct. 21.

St. John’s UCC wants to get you in the Christmas mood! The fun committee is running a bus trip to Lancaster County Nov. 10.

The bus will leave the parking lot 8 a.m. for a full day of shopping and fun.

The trip includes a trip to Kitchen Kettle Cannery and the Rockvale outlet mall, all culminating in a Christmas variety show at the American Music Theater. Supper will be at the Bird-in-Hand Family Restaurant and Smorgasbord before heading for home.

Whitehall High School Class of 1973 will hold its 45th class reunion Nov. 17 at West Coplay Maennerchor, 3326 N. Ruch St.

The social hour starts 6 p.m., followed by dinner and dancing. There will be a class photo as well as a 50/50 raffle.

Notices have been sent out. The deadline to respond is Oct. 31.
