Preschool programs

Freedom HS offers free preschool programs for parents who live in the Bethlehem Area School District from 9:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, subject to space availability and eligibility requirements.

Flu vaccine clinics

There will be a flu vaccine clinic for BASD students and families only from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 10 (rain date: Nov. 11) at East Hills M, 2005 Chester Ave.

Hanover ES: Pinwheels for Peace

Hanover ES students participated in the national Pinwheels for Peace on World Peace Day, Sept. 21.

Pinwheels for Peace is an art installation project started in 2005 by Ann Ayers and Ellen McMillan, who were art teachers at Monarch HS in Coconut Creek, Florida, as a way for their students to express their feelings about what’s going on in the world and in their lives.
