St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Laurys Station, is hosting a craft fair and quilt sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 13.

The event features handmade crafts, refreshments, bake sale, Chinese auction and raffle.

Quilts will be displayed in the sanctuary. They may be purchased or simply viewed for their interesting patterns.

This is an opportunity to find gifts for any special occasion.

Come and enjoy lunch with a variety of homemade items including barbecue and soup.

Enjoy a fun filled day in the country at St. John’s UCC.

The Keenagers seniors group will meet in Fellowship Hall 1 p.m. Oct. 16.

They get together the third Tuesday of each month. New members or guests are welcome to attend.

The annual fall flea market will take place at the Schnecksville Grange, 5322 Route 873, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 13.

Hosted by The Vine Church, the event includes refreshments and many vendors set up throughout the building.

Union Lutheran Church, Schnecksville, invites people and their pets to a Blessing of the Animals 1 p.m. Oct. 7.

All animals are welcome, provided they are under physical control and are safe to be around others.

If your pet is unable to be present, an article representing him or her will be blessed. This could be a photo, toy, blanket or anything else the pet uses. The ceremony will be held outdoors. In case of rain, it will move to the Family Life Center.

The men’s group and the youth group of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, will offer breakfast at the church 10 a.m. Oct. 6. Afterward, everyone will gather for a hike in the Lehigh County Game Preserve.

All are welcome to participate.
