Northampton police responded to these and other calls recently.

SEPT. 14

An abandoned vehicle in the 1600 block of Poplar Street was reported.

In the unit block of West 10th Street, officers investigated a domestic dispute between a male and female.

SEPT. 15

Police said a hit-and-run accident in the 2400 block of Dewey Avenue occurred. A legally parked vehicle was struck, damaging the driver-side rear door.

SEPT. 19

A warrant was served in the 1800 block of Main Street. An officer served a female with summary warrants and transported her to District Court 03-3-01.

SEPT. 20

The department received a report of an intoxicated male in the 1800 block of Main Street.

SEPT. 21

An intoxicated female in the 1600 block of Railroad Street was reported.

SEPT. 22

At 21st and Main streets, a hit and run occurred. The report said a vehicle, stopped for a red light, was struck by a motorcycle. The driver-side quarter panel was damaged. The passenger was able to get a picture of the registration plate. The motorcycle continued north on Main Street.

SEPT. 23

Police investigated a child custody issue in the 1700 block of Line Alley.

Criminal mischief in the 300 block of East Fifth Street took place.

A male and female causing a disturbance in the 100 block of West 26th Street had police investigating.

A fight between two males in the 1900 block of Main Street was reported.

SEPT. 24

In the 100 block of Lilac Court, a warrant was served. A male had a warrant out of Pennsylvania State Police Troop M, Bethlehem. Officers located the male and released him to a trooper.

A report of an unwanted female in the 1600 block of Newport Avenue brought out officers to investigate.

SEPT. 25

A temporary road sign was taken at Main Street and Washington Avenue, the department said.

Officer Buchanan and K-9 Vito assisted with a report of a suspiciously parked vehicle that was occupied at Roethline Court and Cedar Street.

SEPT. 28

The theft of a vehicle in the 200 block of East 19th Street was reported stolen. The vehicle was located by an officer on West 17th Street.

SEPT. 29

Police investigated a protection-from-abuse violation in the 1600 block of Newport Avenue.

Criminal mischief in the 1400 block of Railroad Street had police on the scene. The report said the screen door of a residence was damaged by a rock.
