The Emmaus Garden Club will meet noon at Faith Presbyterian Church, 3002 N. Second St., Emmaus. The program will be “Make your own Bookmark with Pressed Flowers” with Linda Conrad who is a pressed flower artist with 25 years experience. She has both entered and judged the Philadelphia Flower Show Pressed Plant competition. Her presentation and workshop will teach attendees how to create special bookmarks using their own pressed flowers or those provided by her. She will also have artwork using dried flowers for sale. The Crazy Quilters Quilt Guild meets 7 p.m. at The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, 3461 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., Emmaus. Guest speaker Kathryn Jensen White will present quilts from her collection of alphabet quilts. She will speak about her 30 years of quilting, with wonderful storytelling and a display of more than 50 alphabet-inspired tops and quilts in this trunk show. Father-Daughter Dance for girls ages four to 12, 7 to 9 p.m. at the Lower Macungie Community Center, 3450 Brookside Road, Macungie. Pre-registration is limited to 50 couples. Artist David Lee will be the guest presenter at the 7 p.m. meeting of the Parkland Art League at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, 6667 Lower Macungie Road, Trexlertown. Lee is a well-known watercolorist in the area, having received many awards for his paintings.

Emmaus Historical Society chicken dinner, 5 to 6:30 p.m. prior to the October program at St. John’s Lutheran Church Parish Hall, Fifth and Chestnut streets, Emmaus. The program is “On My Honor” – the history of Boy Scout Troops in Emmaus. There is a charge for the dinner and tickets must be purchased in advance.
