East Coast K-9 Trials will be 9 a.m. Sept. 30 at Thunderhead Farm, 7813 Springhouse Road, Lynn Township.

This free, family event will honor those who put their lives on the line daily. Come watch the K-9s and their handlers compete against each other.

Bring a lawn chair. Please leave pets at home.

Ebenezer UCC, New Tripoli, will have its annual bazaar 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Sept. 22. There will be a large flea market, food and baked goods for sale, and handmade crafts.

Ebenezer’s Clothing Closet is open 6-8 p.m. Oct. 11 and 10 a.m.-noon Oct. 13. Clothes for the entire family. Proof of need not required.

Lynnport Fire Company, Behler Street, Lynnport, is selling hoagies.

Orders are due by Sept. 21. Pickup on Oct. 3.

Italian, ham and cheese, turkey and tuna are available.

Help is needed to make the hoagies and volunteers are always welcome.

St Peter’s UCC, Lynnville, is having a basket social on Sept. 29.

There will be food available, outdoor vendors and, of course, lots of baskets from which to choose. Beekeeper Scott Dietrich will be coming again this year to educate the community about bees, and there will be a kids area with activities.

Doors open at 1 p.m. Ticket drawing starts at 3:15 p.m., no need to be present to win.

St. Peter’s will host a hayride 6 p.m. Oct. 6. Campfire foods will be served. Bring a favorite snack to share. Pumpkins and supplies will be available following the hayride for anyone wanting to carve and decorate.
