Members of Jordan Lutheran Church, Orefield, gathered in the family center Sept. 9 before leaving for the Sixth Street Shelter and Allentown Rescue Mission, both in Allentown, and Independence Park, Schnecksville, to volunteer their services. They were one of many groups from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America participating in “Gods work. Our hands” project.
