St. John’s Lutheran Church, 18 S. Third St., will hold a congregational community dinner 4-6:30 p.m. Sept. 22 in the church hall.

Shepherd’s pie with cream cabbage, applesauce, dessert, rolls and beverages are on the menu. The public is welcome.

Commitment to Family and Community, 165 Cherry St., is hosting an all-you-can-eat Italian night 4-7 p.m. Oct. 13.

The meal will include salad, garlic breadsticks, spaghetti, meatballs, sausage with peppers and onions, cheese lasagna, chicken parmigiana, fruit punch and iced tea. There is an extra charge for cannoli, rum cake and cookie tray.

Coplay Senior Citizens is sponsoring a trip Nov. 28 to American Music Theater to see “The First Noel.” The show starts 10:30 a.m.

The bus pick-ups are scheduled for 7:15 a.m. at Weis Market, 3644 MacArthur Road, Whitehall, or 7:45 a.m. at the AHEPA-60 Senior Apartments, 1810 S. Albert St., Allentown. There will be lunch at Good ‘N Plenty Restaurant right after the show.

There is a cost.

The deadline to register is Oct. 28.
