Ziegels Union Church, 9990 Ziegels Church Road, Breinigsville, will host a bus trip to Sight and Sound Theater to see the show, “Jesus” on Nov. 3.
The bus will leave the church parking lot at 10 a.m., have lunch at Shady Maple, do some shopping, see the show, and be back at the church by 7:30 p.m. Deadline to register is Oct. 3.

The Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center, 22 Luckenbill Road, Kutztown, (adjacent to Kutztown University), will be sponsoring Heemet Fescht (Home Festival) 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 22.
There will be vendors, craftsmen, artisans, good food for purchase, folk life demonstrations, kids activities, music and much more.
The farmhouse will host a harpist in the parlor, Fraktur collection, and open hearth cooking.
The Old Time Plow Boys will feature tractor pulls at 11 a.m. and old time plowing demos.
Dr. Mary Laub will read her book, “Uff die Bauerei” (On the Farm), and Rachel Yoder will read her book, “Davy Applebutter” in the one-room schoolhouse.
Music will be presented from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the barnyard by Keith Brintzenhoff, Ed Goldberg, Butch Imhoff, Mike Hertzog and the Blue Mountain Trio, and the Odessa Klezmer Band.
Noah’s Animal Adventures will be there at the petting zoo.
The event is free, so come out and enjoy this family friendly event.
