Martin Thomas Vranicar, 62, of Allentown, was taken into custody after he allegedly attempted to remove merchandise valued at $180.73 from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 10:01 p.m. Aug. 27, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 39-year-old male, of Michigan, was charged with public drunkenness after he was intoxicated while in the Wingate Hotel lobby, 4325 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, Sept. 3. The male was annoying hotel guests and hotel employees, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville troopers responded to QNB Bank, Mill Creek branch, 950 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, for a false alarm for the fifth time in a 12-month period, 10:43 p.m. Sept. 5.
