Lehigh Valley Active Life, 1633 W. Elm St., Allentown, is offering the following programs for seniors in September.
The following groups and disc jockeys will be playing oldies and requests at the Saturday and Wednesday dances, so come out and enjoy the music with your friends.
Sept. 19: The King Duo
Sept. 22: The Steel City Band
Sept. 29: DJ Music Mix with Jerry Deanne
Saturday dances will be 7:30-10:30 p.m. The Wednesday dance will be 1-4 p.m. in the Trexler Room.
Per person fee includes light refreshments. Singles and couples are welcome.
Trisha Baker will lead the Diamond painting class 2-4 p.m. Sept. 13, 19 and 27.
Diamond painting is an easy and enjoyable way of relaxing, relieving stress and creating art.
Based on the same concept as mosaics and paint by numbers, diamond painting uses tiny diamond-like facets to create colorful designs and patterns for finished designs that sparkle.
Albert P. Heydt will be hosting a genealogy group 1-4 p.m. Sept. 14, 21 and 28.

Instructor Dr. Charles Bonos is offering a WWII history discussion titled “American Participation in the CBI,” 2 –3:30 p.m. Sept. 19.
The senior center will be showing the movie “I Can Only Imagine” 12:15 p.m. Sept. 26.
