On Sept. 12 the Lower Milford Township Zoning Hearing Board will hear the final arguments for Docket 09-02, Geryville Materials, Inc.
Docket 09-02 first came before the ZHB in July 2009 with a request for a special exception for the operation of a quarry, asphalt plant, concrete plant and other accessory uses. Over the last nine years, 62 hearings have been held. Geryville Materials, Inc is the equitable owner of eight parcels, totaling 628.483 acres.
The Lower Milford Township Board of Supervisors, along with the Lower Milford Residents Association, have taken positions against the application of Geryville Materials, Inc.
The final arguments of each party will be made before the zoning hearing board 6:30 p.m.
An oral decision will be rendered 6:30 p.m. Nov. 1.
Residents, members of the public and interested parties are encouraged to attend these final hearing dates, held at the Lower Milford Township Building, for the conclusion of this lengthy appeal.
