Eleanor Jean (Good) Brown- Connelly, 88, of Northampton, died Aug. 31, 2018, at VNA Hospice of St. Luke’s, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Ronald C. Connelly Sr. for 44 years and of the late Walter B. Brown.

Born in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Frank Miller and Rella (McKay) Good-Miller.

She was a 1948 graduate of Butler High School.

She was employed by the Department of Veterans Affairs, Bay Pines, Fla., for 21 years until she retired in 1992. Previously, she was an audiology/speech secretary for the Butler County VA Hospital. She was a senior water aerobics instructor at the Jewish Community Center, Allentown, and with the Parkland Area School District for more than 10 years.

She was a member of Union Evangelical Lutheran Church, Neffs.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Ronna Jean and her husband Marty White of Erie and Theresa Ann and her husband Jeff Geisel of Schnecksville; five sons, Zane E. and his wife Donalee Brown of Mountain Lakes, N.J., Gregory S. and his wife Jennifer Brown of Fairfield, Calif., Ronald C. Jr. and his wife Lisa Connelly of Butler, Bruce M. and his wife Gretchen Brown of Pittsburgh and Timothy A. and his wife Cal Brown of Leesburg, Va.; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, William A. Good of Hadley.
