AUG. 16
At Silver Manor, 2 Front St., a person was located when officers responded to a welfare check. The individual refused EMS support.
A neighbor issue occurred at Silver Manor.
A possible water leak in the 700 block of Third Street was reported.
AUG. 17
Members of the department responded to a report of a television fire in the 500 block of Kurtz Street.
On School Street, police assisted a resident who fell.
In the 600 block of Limestone Street, police investigated an animal complaint. The owner took in the dogs when police responded.
A tree on a wire in the 300 block of Mulberry Street was reported to the department.
Police assisted a resident in the 100 block of Circle Street with a report of a dog with medical issues.
AUG. 18
A dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend occurred at Whittier Place Apartments. An individual was transported to the hospital.
A vehicle was ticketed in the 200 block of Front Street.
Police received a report of an injured deer in the 300 block of Union Street.
AUG. 19
A 44-year-old male, of Bethlehem, was arrested for DUI, among other charges, in the 300 block of Second Street.
Suspicious activity in the 200 block of Front Street was reported. The report said items were moved in an apartment.
Police sought vehicle repossession information in the 200 block of High Street.
A theft in the 500 block of Walnut Street was reported. A solar light was stolen.
In the 100 block of Front Street, police investigated a report of a loose dog.
A stray dog in the 100 block of Front Street was reported to the department.
Music was turned down when police responded to a noise complaint in the 200 block of Second Street.
Officers investigated a parking complaint on Second Street.
Police responded to a report of a vehicle fire in the 400 block of Race Street. The report said the vehicle started on fire just after undergoing repairs.
In the 700 block of Race Street, a civil dispute over payment took place, police said.
AUG. 20
Vehicles were tagged in the 300 block of Walnut Street.
A dog was struck by a vehicle in the 500 block of Lehigh Street. The dog was taken to Valley Central Animal Hospital. The owner was called and advised.
A sick fox was killed in the 200 block of St. John Street.
The department received a parking complaint for a vehicle turning around in a driveway in the 100 block of Front Street.
At Schlegel’s Dry Cleaners, 120 Race St., a lawn mower was stolen.
A home and vehicle were egged in the 400 block of Prospect Street.
AUG. 21
Police sought information about a case regarding a neighbor in the 100 block of American Street.
In the 200 block of High Street, officers sought vehicle repossession information.
Cable wires were down in the 100 block of Front Street. The company was notified.
The department said vehicle parts were stolen in the 500 block of Race Street.
On Front Street, police assisted a Northampton County constable.
An abandoned vehicle was tagged in the 300 block of Walnut Street.
A disabled vehicle was stuck on the tracks at the Race Street railroad crossing. It was towed, police said.
AUG. 22
The department received a report of an ordinance violation in the 200 block of Peach Street. The fire was put out.
Police responded to a harassment complaint in the 700 block of Third Street.
A vehicle was ticketed and towed on Second Street.
At 10th and Race streets, a reportable accident involving two vehicles occurred.
At Apartments for the Elderly, 118 Bridge St., police assisted the sheriff’s office.
In the 700 block of Race Street, an illegal withdrawal on a credit card was reported to the department.
A dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend occurred at Whittier Place Apartments.
AUG. 23
A vehicle was tagged at McCarty’s Hotel, 735 Front St.
At Union and Front streets, a reportable accident involving two vehicles took place.
Cathleen Wilk, 48, of Catasauqua, was cited for simple assault and physical harassment and contact.
On Union Street, officers investigated a parking complaint.
A vehicle hit a parked car at Howertown Road and Blackberry Street, police said.
The department received and/or reviewed 20 applicants for the force.
AUG. 24
Police sought information regarding a suspicious vehicle in the 400 block of Erie Street.
In the 600 block of Washington Street, a wanted person was transported for an outside agency.
The unauthorized use of a vehicle in the 300 block of Church Street was reported. The vehicle was returned.
Police investigated a parking complaint on Walnut Street. The truck was ticketed.
The department received an animal complaint in the 600 block of Poplar Street. The animal was reunited with its owner.
In the 300 block of Walnut Street, officers sought information regarding a parking ticket.
On Willow Street, an individual was told to leave when police investigated a suspicious activity report.
Police assisted a citizen in the 100 block of Front Street.
AUG. 25
At Kline’s Auto Service, 805 Race St., items were reportedly stolen from outside the building, police said.
Police sought information in the 200 block of Front Street regarding a road rage incident.
A problem with a tenant in the 700 block of Front Street occurred. Police investigated the harassment complaint.
An issue with an unwanted person in the 700 block of Front Street was reported.
Criminal mischief at Catty Mart, 547 Front St., was reported.
AUG. 26
In the 100 block of Howertown Road, a building was damaged, police said.
Department members assisted North Catasauqua police with a report of a wanted subject on South Third Street.
An investigation is continuing for an assault that occurred at Catty Mart.
