Coplay Public Library: Program is planned at library
Lehigh County Conservation District will be at the library 1-2 p.m. Aug. 23 to present the Buckets Full of Nature: Space Rocks program.

Stop by the library booth during Coplay Community Days. We will be selling pull tab tickets under the pavilion Aug. 25 and 26.
For our younger fans, we will have a fish pond in the pool area noon-4 p.m. Aug. 25.

Game night will be 5-7 p.m. Aug. 27. Finish the summer by giving our Scrabble experts a run for their money.
September will be Scrabble month at the library. Stop in and see our display honoring the game’s 80th anniversary.
We will also have a special Scrabble birthday party Sept. 24. More details will be announced later.

The library will be closed Sept. 1 and 3 for the Labor Day weekend. Have a safe and healthy holiday!

Our free movie Saturdays are returning - 1 p.m. Sept. 15 is “The Cowboys,” starring John Wayne.

Our October book and bake sale will be held 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Oct. 12 and 13. We have many special treasures looking for a loving home.
If anyone would like to bake for the event, contact the library.
We are accepting donations for the book sale. We do not accept VHS tapes, textbooks, encyclopedias, Reader’s Digest condensed books or any materials that are torn, dirty or damaged by mildew or smoke. For your safety, we ask that you drop your donations off any time while the library is open.

The library is collecting historical memorabilia to display for the Borough of Coplay’s 150th anniversary celebrations in 2019.
If you would like to loan any items to the library for the entire community to enjoy, please stop in and talk to a staff member.

The library will return to regular hours Aug. 27. The hours will be 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
