Coplay Community Days opens its 38th annual festival Aug. 24-26 at Coplay Parkway, North Second and Keefer streets. There will be popular music acts and a large number of food stands.

The fare includes chicken paprikash, Wienerschnitzel, potato pancakes with sour cream, boom boom shrimp, halupki, roast beef sandwiches, sweet potato fries, turkey and pork barbecue, cabbage and noodles, pizza, hot dogs, burgers, fries and more.

The Party in the Park opens with a blessing 5:15 p.m. Aug. 24. Following that, the Aardvarks perform at the pavilion stage 6-10 p.m.

The Brian Dean Moore Band plays 1-4 p.m., and the Philadelphia Funk Authority plays 6:15-9:15 p.m. Aug. 25.

On Aug. 26, there is a musical tribute to Elvis, Paul McCartney and Johnny Cash starting 12:15 p.m. and continuing until 3 p.m.; a Cunningham & Associates performance 3:15-6 p.m.; and The Large Flowerheads 6:15-9:15 p.m.

There will be a Splash & Dance party 12:30-3 p.m. and an aqua Zumba party 3-4 p.m., both Aug. 26.

Tootsie the Clown will be at the kids’ zone Aug. 26 for face painting.
