AUG. 8

The department said an investigation is continuing for an animal complaint case that occurred in the 600 block of South 14th Street.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police with a disturbance call in the 1300 block of Fourth Street.

No-parking signs were issued in the 100 block of Walnut Street.

Police and the department’s K-9 assisted North Catasauqua officers with a house search in the 1000 block of Fifth Street. During the incident, a weapon was deployed.

AUG. 9

A 50-year-old male, of Whitehall, was cited for public drunkenness in the 100 block of Pine Street.

On Front Street, police investigated a loose dog complaint.

The department said fecal matter was thrown onto a vehicle in the 400 block of Crane Street.

Edward Sosa, of Catasauqua, was cited for pets running at large in the area of Poplar and 14th streets.

A dispute with an ex-boyfriend occurred in the 200 block of Front Street.

In the 200 block of Lehigh Street, a 37-year-old male, of Allentown, was arrested for a DUI, speeding and possession of marijuana, among other charges.

AUG. 10

A report of an issue between neighbors brought police to the 500 block of Faith Drive.

Police checked on the welfare of an individual, who was sitting on a porch, in the 400 block of Crane Street.

Department members conducted an unattended death investigation in the 700 block of Fourth Street.

AUG. 11

A vehicle was ticketed in the 700 block of Front Street.

A dispute over custody occurred in the 900 block of Bridge Street.

Police investigated a scam phone call in the 300 block of Church Street.

A theft occurred in the 600 block of Limestone Street. The investigation is continuing.

AUG. 12

Police sought information in the 400 block of Front Street regarding a Facebook post.

On Race Street, a vehicle was ticketed.

An individual received a ticket on Mulberry Street. The owner was warned.

In the 300 block of Walnut Street, a parking ticket was issued.

A reportable accident involving one vehicle and an injury occurred on Lehigh Street.
