LV Zoo

Lehigh Valley Zoo, 5150 Game Preserve Road, Schnecksville, along with St. Luke’s University Health Network, is hosting a Run Wild 5K and 10K for animal conservation Aug. 26.

The 5K startsw at 8:30 a.m. The 10K will follow at 8:45 a.m. in the zoo’s parking lot.

Registration begins 7:30 a.m.

The race route goes through the Trexler Game Preserve and ends at the St. Luke’s Giraffe Barn.

There will be separate award ceremonies after each race on the zoo’s sun deck.

Awards will be given to the top three male and female winners in each of these age groups: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 and up.

Awards will also be given to the overall male and female winners and overall masters male and female winners.
