A license plate was reported stolen from a vehicle parked along Susquehanna Street 11:56 a.m. Aug. 2. The resident reported an unknown person is using the plates because tickets have been issued and are being sent to the resident.

An unknown person removed a Samsung phone and a sweatshirt from an unlocked vehicle in the 1700 block of South Albert Street. The theft was reported 12:45 p.m. Aug. 2.

A resident reported to police 3:30 p.m. Aug. 2, an unknown person opened an account to lease a bedroom set using the resident’s name, Social Security number and address. The resident received a collection notice demanding $2,165 which includes late fees.

Police were alerted to a person giving false information to personnel to receive services at Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest, 1200 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., 7 a.m. Aug. 3. Police are investigating.

A resident in the 1400 block of Morningside Avenue reported 11:10 a.m. Aug. 3, a Western Union money order in the amount of $256, which was mailed, was never received by the intended party. The resident found out the money order had been cashed in Philadelphia in May. Police are investigating.

A $500 leaf blower was removed from a business truck 1:13 p.m. Aug. 7 in the 2800 block of Andrea Drive.

Two drills were reported missing from a work truck 9:05 a.m. Aug. 7 in the 2800 block of South Pike Avenue. The drills were valued at $400. Police are reviewing surveillance video.

A resident in the 1300 block of Fairview Road reported 3:15 p.m. Aug. 6, an unauthorized use of a credit card with $168 in charges. Police are investigating.

A resident in the 200 block of Chestnut Hill Road reported an order was placed July 31 for two laptops in the amount of $1,400 which were never shipped although payment was made. The fraud was reported 11 a.m. Aug. 6.

An unknown person placed an order with Domino’s Pizza, 695 State Road, for a pizza delivery in the amount of $41. The unknown person used the card of a person residing in Florida. Police are investigating but believe a Domino’s account had been hacked.

A resident in the 600 block of Crestline Avenue reported seeing a $442.27 purchase at Cherrybrook Pet Supplies which he did not make, on a bank statement. The fraud was reported 8:11 p.m. Aug. 7.

A resident in the 3000 block of Mountain Lane reported an unknown person used the resident’s credit card to purchase 15 copies of Microsoft Office from Dell in the amount of $3,656.85.

A person made a purchase of $166.38 at Daisy Hill Market, 1848 E. Susquehanna St., 12:16 p.m. Aug. 9 with a fraudulent credit card. Police are investigating.

A 24-year-old female, of Salisbury, was charged with simple assault and harassment following an incident in the 400 block of East Rock Road, 4:09 p.m. Aug. 6. She was taken to Central Booking for processing.

Police are investigating an arson at a business in the 1800 block of East Emmaus Avenue, 3:40 a.m. Aug. 9. A witness told police he saw a man light something on the porch of the business. Police are reviewing surveillance video.
