Looking for a night out with friends? Instructor Karen Hoff is offering 10 weeks of aerobics in the parish hall of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, 435 Pershing Blvd. The class will be held 6-6:50 p.m. Tuesday nights from Sept. 4 to Nov. 6.

The 10 weeks includes 50 minutes of aerobic exercises, followed by 20 additional minutes of toning and floor-work exercises for those who wish to stay.

The registration deadline is Aug. 31 or until the maximum number of participants is reached. Contact Mary Spieker at the parish office at 610-266-0695 or email dirreled@sercc.org for the cost and to register.

There will also be a beginner low-impact aerobic class for those who haven’t exercised in a while but are ready to ease their way back in. The class is eight weeks long from 5:15 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. Wednesdays, beginning Sept. 5 and continuing through Oct. 24.

St. Elizabeth’s Golden Agers group is running a casino trip to Atlantic City Resort Sept. 19. The bus will leave the church parking lot 9:30 a.m. and leave Atlantic City 6 p.m., returning home around 8- 8:30 p.m.

Call Irene at 610-264-3721 if interested in going. You do not have to be a member of the Golden Agers to go on any of the trips.

St. John’s United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., is looking for anyone who can knit or crochet. Yarn, supplies and patterns will be provided. All that is needed is talented hands to do the work at your home on your own time.
