Gerald Earl Moyer Jr., 49, of Emmaus was arrested July 6 at Sixth and Elm streets for allegedly driving under the influence, driving while under suspension and careless driving after he allegedly struck a parked car, according to Emmaus police. Moyer was transported to Lehigh County DUI Center and processed.

Daniel Barry Bortz, 56, of Emmaus, was arrested Aug. 3 for alleged sale or transfer of a firearm and unsworn falsifications after he allegedly attempted to purchase a firearm and falsified documents to obtain the firearm, according to Emmaus police.

An 18-year-old male, of Macungie, was arrested July 11 for defiant trespass after he was twice removed from a property by police and ordered not to return, according to Emmaus police.

Marcus George Dengler, 23, of Macungie and Kristian James Boger, 25, of Macungie, were arrested Aug. 3 for alleged retail theft after they allegedly removed $95.53 worth of merchandise from Weis Markets, 1220 Chestnut St, according to Emmaus police.

Two 19-year-old males, both of Emmaus, were arrested July 31 for possession of a small amount of marijuana in the 300 block of South 10th Street, according to Emmaus police.

An unknown vehicle sideswiped the rear passenger side bumper of a Subaru Outback parked in the 1300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported Aug. 6.

An unknown individual removed clothing from a locked locker at Emmaus High School, 500 Macungie Ave., according to Emmaus police. The clothing was valued at $370. The incident was reported Aug. 6.

A Schwinn bicycle was found in the unit block of North Sixth Street Aug. 1. The bicycle is stored at the Emmaus Police Department, 400 Jubilee St.
