Penn State Extension Master Gardeners are offering a workshop on plant propagation 9 a.m. to noon on Aug. 11 at the Trexlertown Environmental Center, 4931 Orchard Drive, Schnecksville.

The session will start with a PowerPoint presentation on the propagation of rhododendrons and will be followed by a hands-on session on how to root favorite annuals, houseplants and other soft tissue plants.

Participants will be given cuttings, pots, and soil to put together at the workshop and take home to grow.
