The Federal Bureau of Investigation and U.S. Marshals Service are asking the public to remain vigilant and report any sightings of fugitive Shawn Christy, who may be in possession of several stolen handguns and is considered armed and dangerous, according to a media information release from the Philadelphia division of the FBI.
Christy may now be traveling in a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan, silver or gray in color, displaying the Pennsylvania tag SV21749.
The minivan-which is similar to the vehicle in the attached photos-was stolen from Butler Township, Luzerne County, on July 29.
The minivan has yellow and black “SCHOOL STUDENTS” decals on the hood and tailgate, the name “ROHRER” in red on the driver and front passenger doors, and the number “0870” on the right quarter panel, left quarter panel and under one of the headlights. The minivan’s driver-side headlight is inoperable.
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest of Christy.
Anyone with information on Christy’s location is asked to contact the FBI immediately at 215-418-4000.
