JULY 15

No-parking signs were issued on South 15th Street.

On South 10th Street, no-parking signs were requested.

A person committing a theft occurred in the 700 block of Second Street, police said.

At Action Parts, 623 Howertown Road, batteries were reported stolen.

In the 200 block of Peach Street, a dispute over parking occurred.

Police assisted Lehigh Township Police Department on Faith Drive with taking a suspect into custody.

In the 600 block of Bath Avenue, police sought information on a stolen bicycle case.

At Catty Mart, 547 Front St., a civil issue occurred.

In the 400 block of Howertown Road, a child custody matter brought police to the scene.

A parking ticket was issued on Front Street, police said.

JULY 21

An investigation is continuing for an animal complaint in the 600 block of Poplar Street.

Officers sought vehicle repossession information in the 100 block of Front Street.

JULY 22

A snake in a building at Catasauqua Park & Playground was reported. It was released into the woods.

Two dogs at large in the 400 block of Circle Drive were reported. They were returned to their owner, who was cited.

A dispute between a mother and son occurred in the 700 block of Second Street.

JULY 23

Ibrahim Chehade, 42, of Catasauqua, was cited for general street obstructions in the 600 block of Poplar Street.

Police sought information regarding a case at Apartments for the Elderly, 118 Bridge St.

A vehicle was ticketed in the 300 block of Walnut Street.

In the 400 block of Walnut Street, a vehicle was tagged.

A dispute between a husband and wife occurred on Front Street, police said.

Officers assisted Children and Youth during an emergency by removing children from a residence on Stonewood Place.

At Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., police responded to a report of a dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend.

JULY 24

In the 200 block of Front Street, a citizen assist case was referred to a civil attorney.

Officers assisted a person with removing items from a residence in the 200 block of Mulberry Street.

A vehicle was tagged in the 400 block of Walnut Street.

On Covington Place, a disturbance occurred between partners.

JULY 25

A custody issue took place in the 600 block of Third Street.

A landlord-tenant issue occurred in the 100 block of Bridge Street.

Michael Turner, 39, of Whitehall, was charged with terroristic threats in the 300 block of Walnut Street. He was taken to the Central Booking Center. According to the report, he was wanted in both Michigan and North Carolina.

In the 400 block of Railroad Street, cable wires were down; the provider was notified.

Officers investigated a juvenile issue in the 400 block of Bath Avenue.

JULY 26

A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 block of Race Street. A vehicle was towed and citations issued.

In the 600 block of Howertown Road, no-parking signs were issued.

A dispute between a mother and son occurred in the 700 block of Limestone Street.

A parking ticket was issued in the 100 block of Front Street.

The department said a civil dispute occurred in the 200 block of Edward Lane.
