Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4714, Main Street and Laubach Avenue, has planned the following activities throughout the month.

Aug. 10, 9 p.m., karaoke with DJ PK

Aug. 17, 7:30 p.m., polka and button box

Aug. 24 10 p.m., karaoke with Crazy K

Aug. 25, 8 p.m., music mix and dance party with DJ Flip Side

Queenship of Mary Church, 1324 Newport Ave., will hold its annual garage sale 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Aug. 4 in the social hall. Entrance to the hall is from the back of the church off Stewart Street.

Food will be available for purchase.

Northampton AARP Chapter 3915 will meet Aug. 8 at Northampton Banquet & Event Center, 1601 Laubach Ave. Doors open 11 a.m.

Entertainment and refreshments will be provided.

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1235 Main St., will hold a flea market and bake sale 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Aug. 18.

Food will be available for purchase.

Proceeds benefit the church’s building fund.

A polkarolldies - polka, rock ‘n’ roll and oldies - dance will be held 6-9 p.m. Sept. 7 at Grace United Church of Christ, 902 Lincoln Ave.

There is a cost, which covers music, food, fun and fellowship.

A cash raffle drawing will also be held.

Tickets for the dance can be purchased at the door or in advance at the church office.
