The St. John’s United Church of Christ men’s breakfast group will have its next breakfast 8:30 a.m. Aug. 4 at Hamilton Family Restaurant, 2027 Hamilton St., Allentown.

Please note: The August date has been changed to the first Saturday.

St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave., announces the first day of school for first through eighth grades will be Aug. 27.

Kindergarten orientation will be Aug. 27 and 28, and the first full day of kindergarten will be Aug. 29.

There are three sites for the Whitehall-Coplay Hunger Initiative summer breakfast program this year. With three sites, organizers are running a little short on volunteers.
