Christine Eskander, of Whitehall, has been named Girl of the Month for March by Woman’s Club of Whitehall Township.

She is the daughter of Mrs. Amany Farag.

She has received high honor roll for two years and honor roll for two years.

Eskander is a member of the choir, Leo Club, Spanish Club, Key Club and SERVE Club.

She belongs to National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta and the honor society for both Spanish and science. She served as president and co-founder of English National Honor Society.

Eskander worked as the editor-in-chief of Whitehall’s school magazine, The Zephyr Breeze.

She also volunteered at LEPOCO Peace Camp for three years and is a five-year member of Whitehall Township Public Library’s Teen Advisory Board.

Eskander plans to attend college in New York and will major in journalism and communications.
