The Catasauqua Park Amphitheater, 501 American St., presents the Allentown Marine Band 7-10 p.m. Aug. 3.

Come on out with your lawn chairs, blankets and refreshments for a fun music-filled evening!

The Night at the Races event will take place Aug. 4 at Catasauqua American Legion Post 215, 330 Second St. Doors open 6 p.m., and races begin 7 p.m.

Donations (a minimum of $10) will be taken at the door.

Enjoy a complimentary barbecue dinner, beer and soda.

You must be 21 or older to attend.

All proceeds will benefit The Please & Thank You Foundation, promoting improved quality of life for seniors and teaching purposeful giving through our youth.

St. Mary’s Preschool, 122 Union St., is accepting registrations for the 2018-19 school year.

The 3-year-old classes are 9-11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, and the 4-year-old classes are 9-11:30 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
