NASD Board of Education names assistant athletic director
An assistant to the Northampton Area School District athletic director has been appointed.
NASD Board of Education voted 9-0 to appoint Matthew Frailey as assistant to the athletic director, effective for the fall, winter and spring seasons of the 2018-19 school year, with a stipend of $3,100, per sports season, with no additional benefits.
At the July 16 board meeting, school directors also voted 9-0 to approve:
Additions to the elementary instrumental stipends for the 2018-19 school year: Michael Baer, elementary band, George Wolf Elementary School, $884; Lori Emery, elementary band, Lehigh Elementary School, $884; Kristy Young, elementary orchestra, Moore Elementary School, $884, Susan Lischner, elementary orchestra, Siegfried Elementary School, $884
Kathleen Schatz, an unpaid FMLA child-rearing leave, Aug. 20 through Sept. 19, with insurance, and an unpaid child-rearing leave of absence, Sept. 20 through on or about March 26, 2019, without insurance
Revised list of teachers, school nurses and 1:1 instructional assistants to provide extended school year and chapter 15, section 504 services for summer 2018
Revised list of professional and support staff transfers effective with the 2018-19 school year
Resignation of Chad Friend, science teacher, effective July 2
Additions and deletions to the substitute list for the 2018-19 school year
