Public Library of Catasauqua, 302 Bridge St., will be showing a family movie 10:30-11:30 a.m. July 28. The movie will be “Ferdinand” featuring John Cena.
The summer reading program concludes 10:30-11:30 a.m. July 31 with Officer Wiseman and his K-9 partner Zora visiting. There will be Oogie’s ice cream as well.

Catasauqua Garden Club’s meeting is scheduled for 1 p.m. Aug. 1 at the Slovak Center Social Club, 1233 Fifth St., North Catasauqua.
Lois Prytherch, a Pennsylvania Master Gardener, will share interesting ways in which you can make your backyard more beneficial for our local wildlife and more entertaining for us.
Horticultural exhibits should be more numerous as more flowers are growing and blooming. Please have them in place early, so they may be admired by all.
Anyone who is interested in attending is always welcome.
