The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit welcomed children of the church and community to Splash Canyon Vacation Bible School July 9 to 13.

Children, youth and adults celebrated that God is always with us on life’s wild ride. The adventure included energizing music, interactive Bible fun, super science projects, cool crafts, delicious snacks, great games and more. Each day the students heard a daily theme that connected to the Bible story of the day.

McKinley Elementary School in Allentown was the recipient of this year’s mission project.

School supplies were collected to be distributed to the children who attend McKinley Elementary School when they begin the new school year in September.

Over 400 school supplies have been received to date.
