The senior youth group of St. John’s United Church of Christ will be enjoying a day at Knoebels amusement park July 30. They will be meeting 9:30 a.m. in the parking lot at the church, 575 Grape St., to carpool to the park.

Be sure to pack a lunch and a reusable water bottle, as well as money for rides, dinner, drinks, snacks, souvenirs, etc.

If you would like to prepurchase your tickets, you can buy a voucher for tickets, as well as all-day ride passes, at any Weis Markets location.

St. John’s UCC is seeking volunteers for the children and youth ministries. A teacher for the kindergarten through first grade and youth classes, as well as senior youth group leaders, are needed.

If interested, speak with Pastor Michelle or someone on the Christian education or youth ministry committees.
