Lifetime Bethlehem residents Thomas F. Keim and Louise (Stiles) Keim were feted by family and friends at a surprise reception May 27 to mark their 70th wedding anniversary.
Thomas was an insurance underwriter with MetLife for many years.
Louise was a catalog specialist at the Bethlehem Area Public Library.
The Keims were married May 29, 1948, in St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church by the late Rev. William Berkemeyer.
They are the parents of daughters Joanne Keim, who is married to Bryan Van Sweden, and Linda, who is married to Jaime Hunsicker.
They have one granddaughter, Lindsey Hunsicker.
Guests enjoyed a champagne toast, an anniversary cake that featured their original wedding cake topper, and hors d’oeuvres.
