HONORS
A portion of Route 100 will be dedicated in honor of Capt. Mark T. Resh, 10 a.m. July 14 at Key Bank, 861 Route 100 (corner of Route 100 and Tilghman), Upper Macungie Township.
Resh was killed during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2007.
The section of highway being dedicated will be from the intersection of Main and Tilghman streets, and the intersection of Claussville and Kernsville roads, Lowhill Township.
State Rep Gary Day, R-187th, authored legislation that would designate this section of Route 100 as the Capt. Mark T. Resh Memorial Highway, with House Bill 181, which passed the House June 4.
