Lehigh Valley Zoo, 5150 Game Preserve Road, Schnecksville, is having a Sloth Meet and Greet Day July 5.

From 12:30-1:30 p.m. the resident sloth Bean will be on exhibit in the exercise yard for guest to meet.

The zoo will be hosting International Save the Vaquita Day July 7.

Vaquitas are the smallest and most endangered species of porpoise in the world.

Dino Days at the zoo will be July 8.

There will be an exciting line up of hands-on interactive activities, Dino Dig station, DIY fossils and guest appearances throughout the day from some of the zoo’s Mesozoic Era friends and keeper talks.

The zoo will be hosting its first community safety day featuring local emergency services including ambulances, fire trucks and police cars July 14.

While at the zoo, stop by the interactive exhibit for a chance to tour inside the kangaroo exhibit and feed the zoo’s lorikeets.

The zoo will be celebrating National Zookeeper Appreciation Week July 15-21.

They will be featuring daily keeper Olympic activities to showcase their keepers’ wild sides.
