PBS39 and ArtsQuest, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, is holding a Soles4Souls shoe drive to help the less fortunate as part of a national PBS drive during the run of the movie, “Won’t You Be My Neighbor,” through July 8 at the Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas.
Soles4Souls is a nonprofit social enterprise that creates sustainable jobs and provides relief through the distribution of shoes and clothing both in the United States and around the world. Gently used and new shoes may be dropped off at 101 Founders Way or at PBS39, 839 Sesame St., during regular hours.
ArtsQuest will provide a free cinema pass for every pair of shoes donated, and PBS39 will also provide a gift.
