U.S. Navy

John P. Weaver, a graduate of Northampton Area High School, Class of 2018, has enlisted in the U.S. Navy.

He is the son of George and Mary Ann Weaver, of Allen Township.

He will report in September to the Naval Recruit Training Command at Great Lakes, Ill., for basic training.

Upon completion, he will attend the Aviation Ordnance School at Naval Air Station Pensacola, Fla., to study aviation ordnance and weapons systems.
