Vacation Bible School at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3355 MacArthur Road, runs July 23-27, with a closing program July 29.
Children from age 3 to those in sixth grade are welcome to attend the program, held 6-8 p.m. The theme this year is “Shipwrecked - Rescued by Jesus.”

There will be a Whitehall-Coplay Hunger Initiative community meal Aug. 5 at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church. The free meal, guaranteed for the first 100 guests, will be served 4-6:30 p.m.

Whitehall Bible Fellowship Church, 3300 Seventh St., will have VBS 6:30-8:30 p.m. Aug. 13-17.

Mark your calendar for Faith’s 10th annual Wheels of Faith car show and craft fair, to be held 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Aug. 18. The rain date is Aug. 19.
There will be music by DJ Johnny D, a 50/50 drawing, a variety of homemade food, vendors and more.
Part of the day’s proceeds will be donated to Whitehall Food Pantry. Participants are asked to bring a nonperishable food item for a chance to win a gift basket.
