JUNE 18
Criminal mischief in the area of North Second and Chestnut streets was investigated.
A domestic dispute in the 1000 block of Barbara Drive brought police to the scene.
Officers responded to a report of suspicious individuals at the rear of a residence in the unit block of North Second Street.
The department assisted a citizen in the 100 block of North Eighth Street.
Police assisted with a vehicle repossession in the 200 block of Coplay Street.
JUNE 19
A reported gunshot in the 1200 block of Tapler Drive was investigated. It was determined to be a squirrel in contact with a PPL transformer.
Police conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Second Street. The operator was driving with a learner’s permit without a licensed driver. The operator’s parents were unaware that the vehicle had been taken. The operator received a citation and the parents were called to retrieve the vehicle.
A citation was issued for an expired inspection during a traffic stop on South Second and Center streets.
During a traffic stop in the 100 block of South Second Street, a written warning was issued for not having a current insurance card.
JUNE 20
Police were on the scene of a domestic dispute in the 100 block of Coplay Street.
Officers assisted North Catasauqua police with a vehicle stop in the 200 block of Buttonwood Street.
JUNE 21
Marijuana was discovered during a vehicle stop in the 200 block of Maple Street. The investigation is continuing.
Police investigated a possible phone scam in the unit block of North Seventh Street.
JUNE 22
A bicycle was reported stolen in the unit block of South Second Street.
A report of a suspicious person in Coplay Parkway, 2 Keefer St., was investigated.
Officers assisted with a vehicle repossession in the 100 block of North Ninth Street.
A reckless driver in the area of South Second and Lehigh streets was investigated.
