Charles “Buddy” H. Pitts, 89, of Whitehall, died June 15, 2018, at the Phoebe Home, Allentown. He was the husband of Earlene A. (Schlicher) Pitts of Whitehall for 65 years.

Born in Coplay, he was a son of the late Charles B. and Mae (McCloskey) Pitts.

He was a 1946 of Coplay High School graduate.

He was a member of the former Trinity United Church of Christ Church, Coplay.

He was a shipping clerk at the former Tarkett for 40 years before he retired.

He was a lifetime member of Fullerton Fire Company.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Scott, Todd and Kelly Pitts, all of Whitehall; two granddaughters, Nicole Landis and Cori Pitts; and two grandchildren, Chloe and Grayson.

He was predeceased by a son, Glenn; three sisters, Shirley Rabenold, Annabelle Trankley and Janet Groller; and a brother, Jack Pitts.
