Last week was Camp Jefferson’s opening week for the 2018 season. Many campers were excited to be back and reunited with friends they hadn’t seen since school let out. We played a variety of games, from Cops and Robbers to kickball.

For the second half of the day, we went to the pool, and the campers enjoyed the nice weather and refreshing water.

Our field trip last week was to Spring Hill mini golf course. The campers had the option to either use the batting cages or play all 18 holes of mini golf. They enjoyed their field trip and the ice cream they received after they ate lunch.

Our field trip this week is to Lehigh Valley Grand Prix.

This week at camp, both Jefferson and Cementon will be at the Jefferson Street location due to the Cement Belt Fair occurring.

The Campers of the Week were Hunter H. and Aubree A. They showed us all what great campers do - have fun, play games and treat others with respect and kindness.
