What will you miss the most about high school?
LV Academy
“All being a small school first of all, so everyone knowing each other and just getting along and all the kindness that’s been in high school.”
Jade Nguyen
“I’ll honestly miss all the connections that I’ve made with my friends and all the friendships that I’ve had for my whole life, and that’s all going to go away once I go on to college.”
Michael Domic
“That’s a loaded question. The most I’m going to miss about high school I think is just by far the environment of just being in school with teachers, students, and our school, I would like to say, most of it was sort of [a] positive environment. It felt pretty well being in that positive environment, [with] people trying to educate themselves and go to school and get good grades, so I think just the environment is probably what I’m going to miss the most.”
Jorge Grullon
“What I will miss most about high school is definitely the environment, I think because I feel like I’ve grown into a family in high school. The support and the love and the encouragement from the staff is just incredible and it’s not something you see in every high school. That’s just something I’m really going to miss.”
Jazmin Tineo
“Friends. The unity. I feel like the relationship we had with our 2018 class was one that I never had before, we all seem so close and I feel like it’s because … the way our school is, because we had to stick together in order to survive together, and I’ll really miss that when I go off to college.”
Dahlia Remy
“My friends and all the dances from the school, all the stuff we did in class, my teachers and all the help they [gave]. I’m going to have lots of fun in college, but I’m still going to come back to say hi to my friends. I’m going to miss a lot of my friends and teachers from LVA.”
Diego Veras
“I think I’m going to miss just being around a bunch of people who I’ve known for so long, it’s just a community, like a small town. Going to college is going to be an incredible experience, but there’s not going to be anything quite like being around everybody.”
