SALISBURY POLICE
The Salisbury Township Police Department is investigating a report of a robbery and assault which occurred in an area adjacent to Lindberg Park in Salisbury Township.
On June 12 at about 7:27 p.m., the Salisbury Township Police were dispatched to the area of Lindberg Park and met the juvenile victim. The male victim was clothed in only his underwear and had a laceration to his leg, a contusion on his arm, various cuts on his body and a bruise on his cheek.
The victim said he was intentionally driven to the park with five other unidentified individuals of possible Dominican descent. He told officers he was then “jumped” by the individuals who hit him with a baseball bat and a gun. The victim told officers the individuals then took his clothes, sneakers and wallet containing $60.
The individuals were described as light skinned males possibly of Dominican descent. The individuals fled the area in a newer model black Honda with tinted windows.
The victim was treated at the Lehigh Valley Health Network Hospital and released.

Kennedy Odhiambo, 55, of Allentown, was charged with suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop on East Emmaus Avenue 10:12 p.m. May 27. Odhiambo was taken to Central Booking for processing.
A resident in the 1700 block of Piccadilly Circle reported playing basketball with friends 4:10 p.m. June 7. A friend asked the resident to deposit $9,000 check and withdraw $500. The check for $9,000 bounced.
Police were notified of garbage being dumped in the 1600 block of Constitution Drive 7:47 p.m. June 8 by a person in a red truck. Police found the truck and talked to the driver who said he dumped dirt from a pool installation. He was warned not to dump anything there again.
Derrick Ryzner, 29, no known address, was charged with attempted theft by unlawful taking, false identification and disorderly conduct 10:50 p.m. June 8. Ryzner allegedly attempted to remove $100 from the cash register at the Flower Tent in the parking lot of South Mall, 3300 Lehigh St. When police stopped Ryzner down the road, he allegedly gave a false name and false date of birth to police. He was taken to Central Booking as he was on probation from Northampton County.
Police provided a child safety seat inspection 4:58 p.m. June 13 for a resident who purchased a new Graco car seat.
Salisbury police knocked down a grease fire in the kitchen at Perkins Restaurant, 3400 Lehigh St., 6:23 a.m. June 14 until fire personnel arrived.
Police responded to a burglar alarm 10:39 a.m. June 7 in the 3300 block of Lehigh Street.
Police responded to a burglar alarm 10:20 a.m. June 8 in the 800 block of Robin Hood Drive.
Police responded to a burglar alarm 9:35 p.m. June 8 in the 500 block of East Emaus Avenue.
Police responded to a fire alarm 5:27 p.m. June 11 in the 1000 block of Flexer Avenue.
Police responded to a burglar alarm 12:27 p.m. June 11 in the 2200 block of Lehigh Parkway North.
Police responded to a burglar alarm 3:11 p.m. June 11 in the 1700 block of 33rd Street.
Police responded to a burglar alarm 9:05 p.m. June 11 in the 1000 block of Buckingham Drive.
