Queenship of Mary Church will hold its annual festival noon-8 p.m. June 24 on the church grounds, 1324 Newport Ave.
Traditional picnic foods - hot dogs, hamburgers, French fries, sausage sandwiches, turkey barbecues, corn on the cob, sno-cones, ice cream and funnel cakes - will be sold.
There will also be a variety of ethnic foods, such as cabbage and noodles, Vietnamese egg rolls, Mario’s pizza, pierogies and longos (Hungarian fried bread dough).
A bake sale, a basket raffle and other raffles will be held.
There will be activities for the kids and bingo as well.
Deejay Liz Flynn will be providing entertainment in the early afternoon. The Mountain Express Polka Band will be performing in the late afternoon and evening.

St. John’s Friendly Fifties group will hold its annual picnic, rain or shine, noon- 5 p.m. July 9 at 26th Street Playground.

Holy Trinity Nursery School, 1235 Main St., is registering children for the 2018-19 school year.
There is a registration cost and a monthly tuition fee.
