St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Second and Union streets, will be holding its annual block party 6-10 p.m. June 21-23.

There will be delicious homemade food, a bake sale and money and basket raffles as well as games for adults and kids. Bingo will be played in the air-conditioned church hall.

Music for all three nights will be provided by D.H. Productions.

In addition, you can enjoy the children’s lip sync contest Friday and hourly “Minute to Win It” games Saturday. Register for these at the disc jockey booth.

Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 Fourth St., will be having its annual yard and bake sale 8 a.m.-1 p.m. June 23.

The event is rain or shine.

There will be a wide variety of household goods, children’s items, clothing, holiday items, tools, etc.

The baked goods are homemade by our church members and are delicious!

George Taylor House, Lehigh and Poplar streets, will be having an open house and tours 1-4 p.m. June 24.

There will be a Colonial militia demonstration 2 p.m.; muskets will be fired.

Come out for an informative afternoon.
