Lehigh Valley Active Life, 1633 Elm St., Allentown, will be hosting Shirley Binkley for a poetry reading 12:15 p.m. June 20.

Seniors are invited to listen to a number of poems written and published by Binkley, then enjoy ice cream to celebrate the last day of spring.

Consider having lunch at 11:30 a.m. before attending the free poetry reading.

Meal cost includes ham, yams, asparagus and angel food cake.
