Suzanne Smith, 40, of Emmaus, was charged with alleged possession of a controlled substance 12:17 a.m. May 24, while a patient at Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest.

Police were called to Laubach Park, 1630 Lehigh Ave., 6:40 p.m. May 24 for the report of multiple juveniles smoking marijuana by the basketball court and the pavilion. When police arrived, four juveniles ran and one remained who knew nothing of the alleged incident.

Police were called to the 1300 block of Maumee Avenue 9 p.m. May 26 for the report of a marijuana smell. Police were unable to find an odor or anyone involved.

A leaf blower was reported as stolen from a shed in the 2000 block of South Bradford Street 8:09 a.m. May 24. The green and black leaf blower is valued at $150.

Ajani Santos, 24, of Allentown, was given a summary citation for harassment 4:56 p.m. May 25 following an alleged incident in the 1700 block of South Albert Street.

A resident in the 700 block of East Rock Road reported 1:33 p.m. May 26, an unknown person attempted to open a Verizon account using the resident’s name and Social Security number.

A resident in the 1600 block of 33rd Street told police 6:50 p.m. May 29, an account at a bank was opened in the resident’s name in September 2016. The account was paid through September 2017 and there is a balance of $2,082. This is a fraudulent account.

Kevin Brown, 21, of Salisbury was charged with criminal trespass, simple assault, harassment and public drunkenness 1:37 a.m. May 27 following an alleged incident in the 1300 block of Lehigh Avenue. He was taken to St. Luke’s University Health Network for treatment.

Ryan Couch, 31, of Allentown, was charged with criminal trespass and defiant trespass following an alleged incident in the 2900 block of Saucon Avenue 11 p.m. May 20. He was taken to Central Booking for processing.

Kennedy Odhiambo, 55, of Allentown, was charged with suspicion of driving while under the influence following a traffic stop on East Emmaus Avenue 10:12 p.m. May 27. He was taken to Central Booking for processing.

Edgar Velazquez, 35, of Allentown, was charged with strangulation, two counts of simple assault and harassment following an alleged incident in the 1800 block of Stratford Court 4:40 a.m. May 28. He was taken to Central Booking and then to Lehigh Valley Health Network for treatment.

Jorge Pina, 45, of Allentown, was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and criminal mischief following an alleged incident at Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest 12:59 p.m. May 29. Pina was a patient in the burn unit and allegedly broke items in the room including a tubular light bulb which was allegedly used as a weapon in an attempt to slash a security guard. He was taken to Central Booking for processing.

An employee at Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest reported to police 1:45 p.m. May 29, receiving a call from someone saying they were with the Internal Revenue Service and there was a warrant for her arrest due to an outstanding balance $3,800.

Charles Herbert Jr., 80, of Hereford, was given a citation for disorderly conduct following an alleged disturbance 2:04 pm. May 18 at Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest. He was cited and released.

Steven Williamson, 32, of Allentown, was charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, sexual assault, corruption of minors and two counts of indecent assault following an alleged incident in the 1300 block of Fairfax Street in September 2017.
