Christ’s Church at Lowhill, 4695 Lowhill Church Road, New Tripoli, is having a hoagie sale.

Choose from Italian, ham and cheese, turkey, roast beef, tuna and veggie hoagies made by Thomson’s Meat Market, Walnutport.

Orders are due by June 10. Pick up is from 5-7 p.m. June 20 in the social hall.

Unplug this summer at Lowhill Live, a faith, family and fun weekly gathering led by Pastor Chris Cocca for children and families, from 6-8 p.m. every Wednesday starting June 13.

Activities will include family worship with live music, prayer, arts and crafts, games, special activities and visits from local organizations.

The church will be having an outdoor service 10 a.m. June 17 followed by a Father’s Day picnic and June birthday celebration.

Hamburgers, hot dogs, birthday cake and cold drinks will be provided. Covered dishes or desserts will be appreciated.

Live music will be provided noon to 2 p.m. by Glen Pritchard

There will also be music by DJ Jason and a basket raffle themed for men. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Morgenland Church, 3120 Weidasville Road, Orefield, will have its first picnic of the season 4-9 p.m. June 23 in the grove. Rain date is from 1-6 p.m. June 24.

Main Street Cruisers will perform. There will be hamburgers, hot dogs, barbecues, red beet eggs, french fries, soft drinks, ice cream and candy available for sale.

There will be a cake walk and raffle.

They are also looking for volunteers to help with set up the food stand and cake walk at 8:30 a.m.
